Our Casino tours offer a wonderful sightseeing journey of the US southwest in comfortable late model luxury motorcoachs. Day one will take us to La Grande for our first night stayover, then day two we continue to Reno Nevada where we wil stay for the next several days at Harrah's Hotel and Casino.
Day 1: Vancouver BC, to La Grande, Oregon
We start our Reno adventure today in Vancouver. After our various pick ups we will begin to head south towards Reno NV. Our first stop of the day will be North Bend WA, where we will have a breakfast stop. We then continue on our way and our next stop will be in Prosser WA where we will stop for lunch. After lunch we will travel to La Grande OR to the La Grande Inn where we will stop for the night.
Day 2: La Grande, Oregon to Reno, Nevada
Our travels today take us to Ontario OR, where we will stop for breakfast. We then continue our way south and make a lunch stop in Winnemucca NV. After lunch we finish the last leg of our tour and arrive in Reno NV. This will be our stop for the next 4 nights at the fabulous Harrah's Hotel and Casino.
Day 3: Reno
This is a free day to stretch out your bus legs and take in the Biggest Little City in the World! Take in the National Automobile Museum or a walk along the Truckee River, the day is yours to spend as you please.
Day 4: Reno NV to Virginia City (seasonal) or Carson City NV
Today we take a free side trip to Virginia City (only in fall and spring) where you will have the chance to step back in time and see why Virginia City NV was the most important settlement between Denver and San Francisco or in the off season we will travel to Carson City for a day of sightseeing and shopping. The historic downtown Carson City shopping district is a treasure trove for the antique lover and discriminating shopper. Stroll through the beautiful historic district and enjoy the unique shopping, Carson City restaurants, and historic views that are available. There's also a selection of museums, showcasing history, natural history, and trains, not to mention the Capitol Building. This evening we return to Reno.
Day 5: Reno NV to South Lake Tahoe NV (Weather Permitting)
Today is another free side trip to beautiful Lake Tahoe weather permitting. We will travel to the south shores of Lake Tahoe and take your chance at lady luck in Harrah's or MontBleu. For the more adventurous and depending on the weather there is ice skating, dog sledding, sledding and tubing, sleigh rides, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing. For those of you that want to stay indoors there are multiple shopping opportunities, such as the Shops at Heavenly Village or The Village Center, almost everything for everyone! This evening we return to Reno
Day 6: Reno to La Grande, Oregon
We start to retrace our steps homeward bound. Our stops today will include Winnemucca NV and Ontario OR for food, a leg stretch and washrooms. Sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery as our driver takes us towards home. Our nights stay is again at the La Grande Inn.
Day 7: La Grande, Oregon to Vancouver
This is our last day together as we finish our trek north towards home. We will stop in Prosser WA for washrooms and food. After our leg stretch in Prosser we will continue north to North Bend WA, where we will again stop for a break. Once back on the road we will head up to the US/Canada border crossing where we will stop for some last minute shopping at the Duty Free Shop. Once across the border we will slowly say good bye to our new friends as we make our various drop off points and bring our adventure to a close.
